there's a bus from mitake station to takimoto station, but I decided to walk because its too cold (end dec)

also you will miss the mitake gorge view if you took the bus

There is actually a climbing meet up every week on meetup.com. They do top rope or bouldering.

Several. If you join you are guaranteed to find someone to rock climb with. It’s a hobby thing for them.

Ahh, it’s great. Many are expats so actually live here

More expats than locals.. depends on the meetup. I use meetup whenever I travel. Have never had a bad encounter.

Could be too cold. You can try researching on Facebook if there is a group for that. For example I joined a hiking group based in Tokyo.

Ninja Gaeshi no Iwa easiest route is the V5/6 so i think i gotta sit out if you guys go there. I aint built for that, bit too difficult for me 🤣
