Hey folks! I'm a 43M game developer from Los Angeles (most recently on Sonic Mania + Penny's Big Breakaway), and I'll be taking my first solo trip to Japan! I'm always down for an adventure pal or two, so feel free to ping me if you'd like to meet up for a coffee, drink, music show, cat cafe outing, or if you are simply lookig for someone to hang out with on a trek! I'll be in Tokyo from the 12th - 19th (staying in Shibuya), Osaka from the 19th - 26th (staying in Dotenbori), and then back in Tokyo for one last night before I head home on the 27th.

Awesome! The 13th should be the day I'm most free since I don't have anything planned for it yet. I think @frozen kraken is also potentially free that day.

I should have some parts of it free. At least during the afternoon/evening. Haven’t decided where I’ll explore yet, but probably omoide yokocho during the evening and shimokitazawa during the day at least

Hey folks! I’m planning to alternate between Shibuya and Shinjuku today in case anyone else is free.

Will probably be making the trek out to Shinjuku in a few hours to experience train life for the first time

Sounds cool! I think I might be down for lunch some place nearby during the day.

Be careful of Shinjuku station though, it’s a pain to navigate through. I’d recommend some station just away like Shin-Okubu and then walking to the center (10-15 min) if you’re not used to train stations as a first time

Ah, got it! Yeah, the Shinjuku station is close by but I haven’t navigated that yet. I decided to take an uber in 🤣
