One thing I’ve been meaning to try is Japan’s used goods and second-hand market. Apparently you can get stupid low bargains on practically new stuff. I’ve seen Garmin Instinct 3 Tacticals go for as low as 25% off. What a market.

Though it's respectful to the restaurant to just eat and leave when your done especially if there are lines out the door of people waiting for a table. So just keep that in mind when eating out. Thankfully, the tsunami warning expired around 6 AM this morning, and the majority of the reported waves were only around .2 meters (9 inches). Aftershocks have continued around the waters off east Aomori (including a 6.4 magnitude quake at 6:52 AM), however.
