and it was excellent

I think its also quite good especially given the price

For my 2/09 date, it would have been about $300 USD after taxes

Pricy, but still reasonable I think

My later 4/9 date is only like $235 USD after taxes, which is even better.

I paid for the stays with my yearly amex plat $200 annual credit

I paid for the 2/9 stay with my 2024 credit and my 4/9 stay with my 2025 credit

Also comes with a free breakfast in whatever restaurant you choose, $100 property credit, early check in, and late check out

There's a bus direct from Sendai station, but you might have to reserve, I didn't know and got lucky and was able to get a spot on the first bus, but on the way back no more spots, just got back after taking a bus to Yamagata station and then taking the train back to Sendai, not too bad. Going to rest tomorrow and try to hit it up again day after

Quite the day trip though, was a 12 hour day for me, caught the bus at 8 am
