Having a checked suitcase really helps with bringing stuff back and usually people can check 1 or 2 bags for free unless they fly LCC

so you can probably just fill up one big suitcase if you need to and if you really need to check a 2nd one

Stop by a Japan post office, a yamato shipping office, or a tokyu hands and pick up a shipping box

Pick up something that you can put on top of a suitcase and just stuff clothes in there
