Yeah

On Kyoto station, take the JR San-In line to JR Emmachi station. There, you transfer to a bus 205 to Kinkakuji-michi station and then tour that first considering it will take you maybe 45min tops.

Now you take the bus back from Kinkakuji-michi, now in the opposite direction to Nishinokyo Enmachi, and get back to the JR station where you transfered, and now you take the train to Saga Arashiyama.

The reason is because if you visit the Bamboo Forest first, it’s a hassle to go to Kinkaku-ji later as you lose time because it’s located so north-west. Especially if you want to visit something else rather than just those 2 in Kyoto. You can take a train from Arashiyama to the city centre which is convenient and fast, but you cannot take the train from Kinkaku-ji to city centre, that you have to do by bus and lose time.

There's something up with it, especially with Osaka Namba station. I was a 10 min walk from there and it kept suggesting trains and buses to get there, seems a few people are having issues with it too.
