Hey, there was some discussion in one of the other chats about doing a group Mount Takao hike on the 26th. Given it's a couple of days away, I thought we should firm up who is available/interested and co-ordinate from there. I think the general plan was to leave in the morning and then have some sort of unwinding session in the afternoon/evening.
I'll tag those who previously expressed some interest but happy for others to join in too!

I'm about to get on my flight so will be offline for a while. My status is I prefer 27th but can do 26th if that works best for others. If someone wants to take control and name a date I'm happy for them to do that haha

We're taking a Keio line from Shinjuku tomorrow morning, look for the Keio lines in pink/fuchsia and let's meet at the gates or inside. Should be in the "Keio Shinjuku station".

I think we were aiming to meet at the station at 10 but I'd imagine the train we end up catching might be a little bit after whilst we take some time to locate each other or if people are running a bit late

Bah, I wish I hadn’t thrown the hoodie I flew in wearing in the laundry. Would have been ideal for this. I might be able to make something else work though. It doesn’t seem like a particularly arduous hike, and I can always take a gondola if I get too lazy 👀

Just wanted to say this was a fun day out! 🍻

For future folks, it's good to meet directly at the correct Keio platform/track at the Shinjuku Keio lines. There are multiple Keio gates so it's hard to pick one gate, so the platform is better.
