What?! That's incredible! I'm in Tokyo Nov 21-25 for the first time then exploring the rest of the country. So happy to hit up a rave! I'm a big happy hardcore and psytrance boy haha. Dudddeeeee what an awesome surprise!
I'm curious what I can expect. I'm from Canada. Is it a super colorful and happy vibe with lots of socializing, dancing and upbeat culture? Or is the scene "darker" where people's intoxicants lead them to be less social? I've seen both in various places around the world.

It's a pretty social time, although on perhaps a slightly subdued Japanese level. Dance music is a niche within a niche here so you get all sorts of people mixing and everyone respects each other

I did! Left at 4:30am. Luckily my friend was NOT gonna walk so we got a cab to the station haha. Only 1,200 yen. Definitely worth it!
