Has anyone done the Mt. Nokogiri hike? If so, is it good? Thinking of doing that tomorrow (depending on the weather).

Yeah it’s a super easy hike plus there’s a cable car to the top for ascent and descent, only thing I’d warn is that the weather tomorrow is looking to be garbage.

So I wouldn’t recommend it unless you have actual rain gear and you’re not afraid of getting a little wet and cold, sightlines will be garbage too but the temple and the Buddha are cool enough. I’d recommend Takao if you really wanted to a least just walk since you’ll be able to catch the temple and shrines worst comes to worse.

Anything else (Mitake/Otake, Kawanori) would probably be too dangerous with the cold weather and rain to trek unless you have some decent experience.
