Yoo. U should check out APA in Kamata. So i have been in Tokyo for one week now, I Made sure to stay in different locations with different price points. APA hotel in Kamata is the cheapest place of them all and is such a nice place! You have restaurants everywhere, big shopping mall 2min walk away and 20 min train in to Shibuya

In Tokyo? I stayed in UNPLAN and it was really good it’s in Shinjuku so kinda close to all the main places. I had a friend at nui hostel but he said it wasn’t social.

I stayed in UNPLAN last year. The location is good if you're out drinking in Shinjuku, but I didn't think it was that clean/hygienic.

The hallway stank of garbage and the kitchen was infested with cockroaches. Literally saw a few running around when I made breakfast for myself in the morning.

There are 2 ways to get to the venue usually, Yurikamone line and Rinkai, but this year they recommend avoid Yurikamone cause there is construction at the station that most usually get off at this year

If you do buy lots of stuff thats too much to bring back on your own they have yamamoto transport stations at the venue you can use to ship back, but other than that if it is your first time and you are browsing around, just enjoy and marvel at how efficient the lines are given so many people

(Lines for specific artists booths may differ depending on how popular)

They plan for that so usually the really popular booths are aligned against the outer walls so they can expand the line outside

if you have a specific artist you want to visit, its good to plan ahead of time, most of them have thei day and booth names updated in their social profiles so you can reference it easier

also some years mobile connection at venue is spotty just because the sheer amount of people
