Going there the 30th. Plan to get there about 10:30 to queue. I've eaten there twice before last time before the pandemic and both times were quite good. The noodles are perfectly cooked and I highly recommend the tantanmen

Don’t get me wrong, it was fun and worth it!

Continuously hydrate and eat. I overpacked by bringing too much water, I would just pay the premium by buying water at the huts. Bring some light snacks or candy, I brought a bunch of chocolate almonds to keep me going.

And I wore shorts the whole time with a long sleeve t-shirt. I only ever felt cold enough to put on a jacket when I stopped for more than 5 minutes but, as you know weather does change so your experience may be different

@fast niche it all depends on how fast of a climber you are. leave yourself at least 3 hours to get down. I went at a strong steady pace on the way down and it took two hours twenty minutes

If you're fit, three hours should be plenty of time to get down. If you doubt yourself add an extra hour
