2010 15 inch macbook pros have dual gpus, one of them is an nvidia geforce gt 330m, the other one is intel hd graphics
the nvidia gpu AND its vram are powered by a single capacitor which seems to be smaller than a pinkie finger
so like yall can guess the problem - the system kernel panics after the gpu actually does anything
the cap is simply way too small to support the graphics card
i cant cope with the nvidia gpu being disabled
but i have to

the one true fix is to get a soldering kit and replace the microfart
which i cant
so im stuck with a computer that is like 90% functional but to me it feels like its 5% functional

if you didnt read about my stupid graphics pipeline you have to allocate a tile (or more than 1 tile if you want to) and then you can change the contents of these tiles etc (the contents of the tiles are supposed to be loaded into gpu vram)
