Thanks for the report.
Any particular activity you were doing in the game that caused the crashes?
Also, if you can copy/paste the crash text here if you get them again it would be appreciated. We don't receive the Crash Reports, they go to Epic directly.
@uneven summit hi garry these crashes happen very often for me, my pc does seem to currently have a memory issue or two
illsend these over and hopefully you can see weather its my pc or the game causing these
please just indicate where i can find these crash files
If you go to: %localappdata%\ES2\Saved\Crashes - zip the Crashes folder up and send it over to [email protected] we can look into this.
If you are experiencing crashes on other games, memory may be a possibility. Are you running EXPO on your ram?
XMP is enabled
I would recommend, for the time being turning off XMP/EXPO as that is an overclock and see if your system remains stable.
Are you seeing issues in other games too?
I have had no crashes playing certain games ( Monster Hunter Rise )
however i have had a BSOD on my dashboard
the crashes i do experience seem to be games that run on Unreal engine
Still may be worth trying without the overclock to see if that stops the crashes. If not, then you'd be free to turn it back on.
I have a similar system, 3080Ti / 7800X3D, 32GB DDR5 6000Mhz and doesn't crash with UE games. I know Intel chips have had issues with UE games, but not AMD.
my ram is Corsair vengence 32gb 3600MHZ DDR4
windows memory tester and MEMTEST86 have found issues
how do i navigate these files?
Ah, if you've confirmed issues then you may see instability increase.
You can just zip up the Crashes folder.
Yes. That's fine.
ok and how does the game run for you sice the engine migration? can you consitantly hit over 120fps with epic presets with dlss and lumen?
I find the game doesnt quite perform as well as it did prior to incursions, at 1440p through Nvidia DSR the game drops from around 138fps to 80 ish fps in areas like prescott starbase or areas with dense fog
can be a bit jarring
Denser areas always will decrease performance, but generally they are similar to UE4. We're working on improving performance as much as we can.
