If the event basically got completed and somehow the door didn't opened for you there is a way to go into that door and grab the cube key but you need to be in coop with someone that knows how to get you inside.

Never had this issue to be fair never came across with it ever in hundreds if not thousands of playthroughs

So I ain't sure what can trigger it nor I was aware of any other solution

Once the event was over the event was over and the door remained locked for whatever reason. I had people having this and uppon a restart the door was still locked so yes in some cases the only solution is this.

Where? I could find a single instance here where a restart was even attempted and that was in August '24

Granted in that instance it didn't fix it, but it's still worth trying

Regardless though "only solution" implies its hardlocked unless you get someone to glitch you which just isn't, you can load a backup, and if all else fails you can restart the campaign, which granted, might be more effort than getting a co-op guy to glitch you

Man I have helped thousands of people and I have hundreds of friends. Just because they aren't part of a discord post doesn't mean I haven't seen it as an issue. I meant I haven't seen it in my own game. So what you saying is basically other solutions to erase the issue like restarting your campaign or load a backup which makes sense but it's not necessary. This guy has 10h in this game. What backup? Why he needs to have a backup and why to restart his campaign if there is another solution to this such as what I did? You think that he was staring the wall for 40min without doing a teleport on his ward or restarting the game?

People have done stranger things than staring at a wall for 40min while they google stuff, so that's not out of the question.

Steam has backups by default, and for people who can't multiplayer, the co-op solution isn't a thing.

You're free to disagree, but people can come here and look up stuff in this discord for solutions to issues, and I'd rather they find a conversation about all solutions than reading "the only way is to have somebody glitch you through the wall"

Well feel free to feel how you want about it, I'm not arguing here but after 4000+h let me know some things better about curtain glitches and how to perform a solution quicker. I don't think that I asked you about your opinion to begin with nor I need to know what you prefer for people to see as solution. This is a solution to do it reliably. You know that I had my sparky completely gone from my ward 13? Like literally vanishing with his things still there. I had loaded a backup for it while before doing that erasing the campaign/ward could also fix it by doing the quest all over again but that's what personally ever seen as a glitch in my own game.

On others I have seen a lot of things while they wasn't necessarily part of the discord I have trouble shooted a lot while doing common steps like guiding them to do a common restart or joining them to see whats up and in many cases a glitch was actually the only solution. In this case however this door if the event marked as done and the door doesn't open a restart won't do the trick. I have came across it 3 times and the previous 2 times this wasn't fixable by a restart. It is fixable by restarting your campaign though. The question is what triggers it. I haven't seen it in my own game happening ever.

You don't need to give me your CV, I believed you the first time, the reason I asked "Where" was because I wanted to find out whether a restart could fix it at all for future reference, not to discredit you, but it appears you just instantly felt insulted because of that.

The rest was just me reiterating that we shouldn't go "only solution" on something like a co-op wall glitch because other people might read this, just like they keep stumbling across "you have to kill doe for blood moon" or "Engineer is random" or "void heart is 12h". Already ignoring that "co-op" doesn't work for some people because Xbox and PS5 have to pay for online.

I'm finished with this conversation now though. I can't with people who go out of their way to try and make others feel bad with shit like "i dont remember asking your opinion" on a fking public discord.
