Every time I reload, the game glitches. | Remnant Game | Page 1

I tried a complete reinstall, verifying integrity of game files, and many other things, but nothing worked.

What glitches I'm experiencing:
My fragments randomly deselect and go to the first three I unlocked instead of the ones that are best for my build and I have to select them every time. (This also happens on Prism level up, and since dying or resting at a crystal reloads the area, it happens then too.

Inconsistently weapon mods will be hidden, even ones assigned to specific weapons like the cube gun and enigma, requiring me to re-equip them, forfeiting all mod charges.

It auto equips my handgun consistently after death, even though I always have my long gun equipped and never swap to my handgun, causing a loss of ammo due to accidental use.

Any advice on how to fix this issue?

I know steam has a bit of a reputation for not fully uninstalling games so it's possible there's some remnants on my drive (no pun intended), but aside from that, I have no clue what the issue could be.

I played the game early with the preorder bonus and haven't uninstalled the game since, maybe that caused some instability?

Those are old multiplayer bugs iirc. Does it happen when you play alone?

Also this is an alt, my old account was hacked and I just got it back.

you should still be able to click on them, it's just other bug reports about the same issue. None of them had a fix anyway.

yeah i can fix it after every reset by changing them, but it gets changed back after

I have no answer for that, sorry. The links are all I got rn. Remnant has its jank. All I could think of is: Go to your own world, select the fragments you want, save your loadout and then join your host. If they keep changing you can click on that loadout atleast
