Yes, I know this broken game has a lot of issues. But I’m confident in the part I’ve researched, just like you’re confident in the speedrunning scene. When I was putting together my build and making the guide video, I discovered that Void Light’s missiles don’t benefit from mod crit chance at all. I did a lot of testing and had my friends verify it. It turned out my hypothesis was correct. So when I saw that statistical table, I was very surprised — because the missiles were critting way too often. And you told me that Hellfire’s crit rate is very high. That might be one of the reasons for our disagreement.

Maybe it’s just some internal issue with this broken game. Who knows.

The missiles will do 1 critical out of five targets, some times none, some times 2 with thorns I have seen a 3 target critical

But the hellfire itself yes it scores a lot of criticals

I thought the same at first — until I used editing software to count every damage number. That’s when I realized the game isn’t actually that broken. Most damage values can be calculated accurately. For example, with your build, Hellfire’s damage is:

525 × (1 + 1 + 0.25 + 0.5 + 0.2 + 0.1 + 0.1) × (1 + 1 + 0.25) = 3720.9375

If it crits, it becomes:

525 × (1 + 1 + 0.25 + 0.5 + 0.2 + 0.1 + 0.1) × (1 + 1 + 0.25) × (1 + 0.5 + 0.15 + 0.1) = 6511.640625

I see. I’ve never really taken a close look at my own video — maybe I should count the number of enemy kills carefully.
This might also have to do with my playstyle habits. I consciously try to cover areas I can’t see with the Invoker’s skill, and then I keep my camera focused on the areas the skill isn’t covering. Maybe that’s why it looked like I only killed 7 small mobs before an aberration spawned.
Because Monorail’s crowd clear is so weak, I have to rely on other methods to speed up the stages with lots of enemies.

In Yaesha and some of the Losomn dungeons, the slow respawn rate of mobs drives me crazy. If I go even a short while without killing anything, I feel like resetting.
What I hate the most is the Bloat King. During its add phase, the second wave of enemies lowers the aberration progress bar when it spawns. On top of that, the Bloat King itself wastes a ton of time.
I will go back and count the average number of monsters I kill in my videos.

Its not an issue I have RTSS to cap the frames at any given moment

I just choose where

60 feels so sluggish to me that I can't even hit the dummy properly

60 frames,8500 dps critical rate indeed seems lower than what I used to have

8500dps until 999999 total damage

120 10700dps until 999999 damage still critical rate feels less than usual

Uncapped varies from arround 11500 to arround 11800 dps critical seems my usual thing

@valid locust I'm gonna rerun the entire void serries again at locked frames this time providing applications running and character stats. Since the final video had a massive confusion. I'm not sure how dedicated I will allow my self to be to achieve a run like this since that run was an outcome of 5 days of tries but I will try my best to not burn my self in the process.

In general I don't like the idea for anyone to think that I used something shady to achieve this run it eats me up so I would like to come and display everything to clear up any confusion and continue doing my thing with a peace of mind.

I skip the bosses with the same pace nothing changed,nothing is harder to kill, i just want to come clean while sawing everything running on my PC , every application im using before the run, cap my frames and saw my stats on the character. The thing is the amount of RNG involved to get it under 22m which is extremely difficult.

Everything falls like before since before I was using the same configuration as now I was just having less latency from what I can currently feel at 120 frames.

Just briefly looking the major issue is still ram prices. Considering that it will be a gaming pc it doesn't need more than 32gigs but the 32 gigs atm are extremely overpriced. They have the same price as a very respectable gpu which doesn't make sense. The other parts are priced kinda reasonable atm exept ssds

So interms of buying something to play everything at least for now there are plenty of options to choose from especially if you play at reasonable resolutions but ram prices are really high.

32gigs of a slow kit atm is priced like buying a ps5 Pro.

PC components are probably at the most expensive they've been in like 40 years

RAM is bottlenecked right now because one of the major manufacturers decided not to sell to normal people at all anymore and only sells to BigAI now.

GPUs are a major component for AI datacenters as well, so they're up in price. Iirc Nvidia up and decided around the turn of the year that in 2026, their flagship model would be priced at 2x what it was before (or some silly shit like that)

NVMes and regular SSDs are also up due to the same reason as RAM
And if you thought you could just avoid that issue and have an HDD as your main storage think again. HDDs are also up because everyone was panic-buying them when the SSD prices spiked.

I made this video as clear as possible sawing everything that im running to clear up any doubts that occured. I capped the game at 120 frames which presumably might give "an unfair advantage" which again if it does it shouldnt even matter to me. It deserves to be noted that my RNG on the run is nowhere near optimal, i was taking buffs until stage 18 aswell and my fifth buff was completely useless aswell you will also see that i missed a ton of mod spams due to the delay difference that im feeling between what i used to play with compared to 120 frames. This was the third attempt i did today and it perfectly aligns to my average semi descent time that i do with the void. With that said my original intension was to just drop the void as low as possible which in my books i already did. The limit is is about 1min plus some change quicker than this

If every input over a run is delayed by 0.00001s, then eventually it'll amount to a whole second given enough inputs

There are few indications that the game engine behaves wierd and there is the fact that a while ago me and sugar discovered that the Nerud gliders move quicker at 120 frames compared to 60 frames having 300+ might resulted on some game anomalies. That's why I capped my game at 120 to basically bd able to play and not "exploit" the runs.
