It won't give the material for Black metal from the guy. Every weapon was purchased and nothing happens when exiting out of his shop

After some research I found that if someone else recieved the crafting material and gives it to the mechanic, the host will permanently be locked out of getting the sword. Will there be a patch for macabe to sell the sword like how he sells redeemer and anguish? That could fix this issue 😦

Yes everything you could get out of his store and went through all dialogue. Even went to other people worlds to see if I could get it and still nothing

Oh I need to clarify I'm not the one with this issue. Its my friend. When the new update came out I was helping my friend get enough scrap to get black metal bars but I suddenly got the item while in his world and gave it the the mechanic chick. At the time he didn't own all the guns but recently purchased everything out of macabe store. He doesn't have anything else to buy. I helped him through hardcore on veteran to get those weapons as well.
I made him stream everything to make sure he bought everything out of his store and went to the mechanic several times
I feel bad as I'm the one that turned in the black metal thinking he can get it from her later, not realizing my actions locked him out of getting the sword. He's a huge berserk fan too and was very excited for the melee

so brabus gives you the bars, and then it's a dialogue option with mccabe
he will give anyone who:
- has all his items + shovel
- does not have sword
- does not have bars
- has not given bars personally to mccabe
again it's dialogue, not in her shop to craft

I understand that, you purchase all items, he gives the crafting material, then talk to the mechanic and tell her about the material and give it to her. After that check back after some time has past and she'll give the sword
I was the one initiated the conversation with brabus and recieved the black bars then gave the mechanic the material thinking I helped my friend out
But he didn't own all the weapons at the time
And now he does but Brabus will not give anything

No I already owned it and when I went to visit his world. Mccabe gave me his black metal and I gave it to the girl after all the dialogue was finished
