I recently decided to start a campaign on PS5 so I could co-op with my friends, only to discover that the game fails to save progress. I went through about 4/5 of the first world last night only to be kicked back to my LEVEL 1 character walking through the shelter door with Ford at the beginning of the game. It refuses to save at all.
Before loading a save, it reads
"Travel to this content is disabled and that the downloadable content is unavailable"
I don't have any of the DLC on PS5 however.
There's no way to recover saves as both the local and cloud saves start from when you play it.
This is a serious issue for PS5 and there's already a growing Reddit thread. So far I haven't seen anything about this on the Discord yet.
