I've ran into an issue where McCabe is not giving me the black greatsword, even though I gave her the black metal bars and completed both the dark horizon story and the base campaign. I want to know if this is an issue that may be resolved in the future. In saying that, the reason this bug/glitch may have occurred might have been when I swapped to the dark horizon one shot from my previous adventure after I had given her the metal bars, I talked to Brabus again and he gave me a second set of black metal bars. Even though I already got them and gave em to McCabe. This leads me to believe that the game bugged out and made to where McCabe is not making the weapon and I cant give her the other set of metal bars to hopefully fix her. Please let me know if this is something you guys are looking in and can fix in a upcoming patch, or if anyone else is also experiencing this glitch and if there is a way to fix it.

Samething for me ita been now 3 days since giving her the bars and still nothing . And also have gotten the bars a 2nd time

you may not be allowed to switch gamemodes. as your Ward 13 lobby counts as the gamemode
meaning you can give it to McCabe in a adventure mode run and reset the adventure your ward 13 is resetted too.
means you have to keep the current run where you gave the bars to Mccabe

and then just wait until you get it
maybe its also a random factor of time like with the Thaen seed. took me several Reallife days to obtain (playing a few hours everyday) camping lobby doesnt progress the time. traveling doesnt too. not sure how that works tho

I need a video to see what interaction is playing, can someone please record a clip of them asking mccabe if it's done a couple of times?

Err, I already closed the game, but I can answer from a previous time I went afk. Its just the same loop of dialog.

I've left the world and returned, closed/open games, changed modes, etc. All the same loop of come back laters

My personal guess (having no understanding of game code or how remnant works) is that there is some issue being caused by having the second black bar item in inventory

i did not left location or teleported or switched mode, just gave it to her

i'd like to see you do that again where you piss her off until she says it's gonna take longer, then just run out to the crystal (don't use) and come back after 1 minute

bought all weapons from bitchass, got his Metal bar. gave her the metal bar, went to the crystal without touching or leaving, went afk 5min and she gave it to me

No teleports, leaves or stuff in between.

If the sequence is to piss her off and wait, then go in, probably not.

I got the bars from Brabus
Gave them to Mccabe

Asked once, got told no
by virtue of just checking vendors, talked to Brabus again and got a second Black Bar

essentially, I never waited in Ward 13. I always left to go do Boss Rush or explore more. My only attempts for repeated interaction were post Bow/Clock

I did my One Shot blind, so I didnt even know the bow/clock thing existed at the time. I missed it on my first run through

Wow this is a crappy situation, but it's nice knowing I'm not the only one having this issue.

I do hope this glitch gets fixed soon though, I really want the sword.
