I been playing last 12 hours with the repulsor, and it feels wierd. the damage is inconsistent at best, and the aiming functionality maybe the cause ? and the weapon also does not seem to behave with the Range increasing rings or traits. or if they work they give out the fraction benefit. it requires testing by somebody smarter than i. but going on full 12 hours of experience the gun just feels very inconsistent and akward. it might need a balance pass and funktionality check.

and adding to this i have noticed that upgrading the weapon lessens the inconsistensy

you're aware that the Weapon becomes more accurate the longer AIM is held.

yes, the aiming function is at play here. what i have gathered so far, the inconsistency comes from damage fall off. and what i have seen now. is that 0 lvl weapon gives out more scattered numbers on hit. even with aim mode. instead of one big number. so not sure if the aim mode effects damage or is there some wierd math hickup with it and range. thats doing it because oneshotting few enemies and then just getting gray or white small numbers to others when the scenario is the same seems wierd

also using the sharpshooter class made difference as well as the flat increase range ring targeting jewel

and im not talking about sniping with this thing im talking about like max 5 to 10m ranges here

what i did was start a new character bought the repulsor and start off the campaing. i kept playing with the repulsor. all the way through losom and then i did yesha adventure lost kingdom. and at somepoints i was just overwhelmed by enemies and or the bosses because the gun just didint do the max damage. even in blankpoint range with the aiming mode.

i have currently 515 hours in the game. beaten both hardcore and apocalypse
