Pre-patch you could run Medic/Summoner with Rugged trait max level and anytime you popped a relic to heal your minions, the healing they received would count towards your Regenerator healing for regaining a spent relic charge. I tested this in Ward 13 and the minions do get healed, however the regenerator perk is not giving me any relics back.
There are plenty of YouTube videos demonstrating the pre-patch mechanics of this, I have been running this build for a while no issues until this recent patch.
