Joining problem

I can’t join my friend’s game but he can join my game. I also can join random players games. This started randomly yesterday. Any ideas?

Same here, since ~2 days I've constantly been stuck in "Connecting" screens, very few lobbies are actually joinable :l

An official trouble shooting guide for PS5 players having connection issues would be really helpful.

It's server-related and occuring on all platforms since a few days - has nothing to do with your console apparently

I’ve had issues since the DLC dropped, which the subsequent patch didn’t fix. It’s confusing because we can join public games but not friends.

Well that sucks.. Hopefully patch is coming soon

That’s the thing, it’s a coop game I play with a friend, we can’t play until this is fixed. Knowing that there are server issues is helpful, thank you for that.

Well it's the opposite here. I (Steam,EU) can perfectly join friends (Steam,EU and Steam,NA) and vice-versa.
Alot of random lobbies on Europe Steam Matchmaking (Apoc) are not accessible and get stuck in Connecting for me tho. It's very hit or miss and has occured more frequently over the past two days - which coincides with @median drum 's problems (at least that's what I assumed)

I'd say give it a try with just a normal friend

I meant unfriend and add as regular friend, not close friend
