The issue I'm having is whenever I open the game, steam overlay wont open and I have a different character (a Hunter I created when I first opened the game.) I stopped playing the game (closed the game) after a couple hours on this character, waited for my friends to get online and decided to try the coop mode, for my surprise when I launch the game, it asked me to create a new character, and the hunter was no where to be found. I got a little frustrated but decided to move on since I'm starting a whole new gameplay with my friends so I decided to make a medic.
We played the game for a good 5-6 hours, I went to sleep and updated the game next morning and now I cant open the steam overlay again and for some reason the hunter is back.
I tried with the "corrupted savefile" from the FAQ but doesn't seems to work either for my character or the steam overlay to open, this might be the "offline" version of the game? is that a thing? it only happens with Remnant 2, steam overlay works perfectly with all other games. Any help?
TLDR; Steam overlay wont open and show me a character I played solo and when the steam overlay does open (randomly) it will have another character I used to play with friends.
If I play without the steam overlay and I try to "join game" on the coop section, it will keep saying "updating" forever and my friend list wont load up.
