I will be posting to Thingiverse as soon as I'm done adjusting the sizes so it works perfectly. Takes my heavily modified Ender 35 minutes to print with tree supports.

Still adjusting

Had to rotate some things to replicate the original

#

Tested in the hat and it works perfectly.

#

And there it is, this was a fast project

Designed something very similar,

#

In the end I just glued it

I glued it, but it broke again a short time after

Oof

#

Yea kinda glued it saying “guess we will see how long this lasts”

#

And it’s lasted for months lol

#

Mine didn’t print very well either

I'm not even sure how it broke the second time, I just looked down and my CMS was gone.

#

The ones I printed have turned out perfectly, but I had to make a number of adjustments

Ah mine was the F18 one

#

Maybe it was just the angle at which it broke

jagged nacelle
#

It's it still the thumb switch?

karmic crypt
#

Yea

Ok so I don't know for sure, but it definitely could be the same part, they use a similar pin arrangement to hold the cap on, so I don't see why they'd reinvent the wheel here.

But I’m saying maybe mine broke a different way where I was able to glue it

#

It broke at like an 85 degree angle

Mine also broke at an angle

#

I glued it, it held for a bit and the broke again
