I recently bought a set of 167M rims but the tires on them currently are really wack and the front tires have wire showing they are also really wack sizes and makes my car look like a buff dude who never hits legs 😂, after some asking around and many, many calculations I found the tires sizes I want that fit good and are within a 5% difference of the total outside diameter of the stock wheels for my car meaning it doesn’t throw the speedometer off much at all. However I’m making this thread because I’m looking for a reliable tire brand that has these sized tires and that preferably don’t cost a fortune, looking for a W or Y speed rating too if possible. And yes I know I can just google it but I wanted to ask here because you guys could have experience with different tire brands because I’ve seen tire brands that have a good rep online but in reality their tires are kinda shit

TLDR: I need recommendations for reputable tire brands that sell the sized tires shown in the photo with a W or Y speed rating preferably that don’t cost a fortune

I’m not taking my car to the track ever so it doesn’t need to be all fancy

I reside in western Canada if that changes anything

How often does this get driven in snow? I’m guessing if so, a “two sets of wheels and tires” solution is less than desirable?

#

Assuming yes to both of the above, see if a set of Vredestein Quatrac Pro is within your budget. Good performance, rated for snow and cold, Y speed rating, both your sizes are available

Ah, yep that changes things. Good call doing summer and winter tires.

I’ve used Firehawk Indy 500 in the past and have great things to say about them. More affordable than the usual suspects.
