#Wanting to Buy A Classic Car - Scared of Private Marketplace

I am a 26 year old professional car videographer / photographer and prior to the last few years I have done a lot of travel content unrelated to vehicles. Now that I have been in the space I have really grown to love the car scene and I would love to purchase an older classic car that won't break the bank that is cool, and could be used to continue growing my page and practicing my craft.

I have been looking at older Porsche 944, BMW E30's as potential options, but am really nervous about buying from marketplace as I just don't know anything about vehicles, and don't want to make a rash decision.

I was looking at these two currently and wanted to see if any red flags were raised by someone more knowledgable than me, and just some things to lookout for in general or other car recommendations around a 15k budget.

Yep, a pre-purchase inspection is usually a good investment. Can help you understand what you may be in for. It is money well spent, even if you decided not to buy a car, if it helps you avoid a car you would have had to sink too much money into
