#How do i remove a stuck wheel

With car in the air and fully supported by jackstands, kick the tire at the noon, then six oclock positions, then three and nine oclock, and repeat a few times. You’ll eventually work it loose
I usually donkey kick it at the 6 o'clock position from the inside.
Make sure you have one lugnut loosely installed while doing this if you value your wheel.
if its really stuck, undo the lug nuts then very loosely put them back on with a little gap for the wheel to come off, then lower the car back down, this should break the wheel loose. if this doesnt work and you really need it off drive it forward and back a tiny amout with the wheel turned until it comes off
if that dont work like on my sportage, i put the lug nots on loosely and mashed the gas and then quickly braked to get it off
heat, rust penetrator and force
lol
i mean that's it lol
if you dont care about paint lmao
Well, if the wheel is stuck A guy probablöy didnt care too much in the first place
just use the weight of the vehicle thats all ya need
Another thing is to slightly loosen the bolts, and dump the clutch while the front is in the air
it might come loose
or just drive it with slightly loose nuts
It's hillbilly but it works
right
It'll still be resting on the hub tho, so just letting it down might not do much
when the nuts are loose it will be exposed to rotational force
tbh just scrap the car
the nuts hold the wheels in line not just to the car
i once strapped a fence pole to a stuck rim, and tried to bend it off
eventually it came off
A friend of mine pulled the wheel the other way at the same time lol
usually some good kicks does it
i guess you could take the whole hub off with the wheel
and then just knock it out of the rim
seems like it'd be more work than what its worth
no
why not tho
wdym why not
I used a 3 jaw puller tool and impact, took it off in 2 secs
I didn’t want to destroy the black oxide or phosphate coating on the steel wheel
Welp
Put the lug nuts back on finger tight, gently lower the car back down, do some parking lot maneuvers. I've heard of people doing similar with wheel hub bolts removed to replace wheel bearings. Emphasis on gentle because you don't want a wheel coming off on you.
I've never worked on anything rusty enough to justify anything more than smacking the tire a bunch of times
I used a 3 jaw puller to get it off, i did lower the car and steered it a bit, didnt do shit lol
you probably needed to drive it harder, one way or another loose lug nuts will cause the wheel to come off the hub
