Damn clip fell off one side
Other side that broke
Ended up pushing the other side back in so it dont damage anything
:/
Nvm got it, my car now legally has 142k less km
Has it seen a shop in that milage at all?
What?
Before you swapped the cluster, was it at a shop at a higher milage at all?
what do u mean
Did I take it to a mechanic for servicing due to high milage?
Since I bought the car, its been to a mechanic a few times, other times I did the work.
If the cluster reads a lower milage then the last time it was in a shop, its going to get flagged as odometer rollback, and thats if they dont see the ECU flagging it
According to fair trading Australia, I can legally keep it as is. But I am legally required to make a detailed note on my service records and inform a future buyer of this change.
Taken it for a bit of a drive since install, noticed the needle isnt smooth when going up or down? not sure if thats normal for it to seem "laggy" if u know what I mean.
Seems to be throwing accurate readings, just the needle isnt smooth when moving.
Mine did the same on WOT but fixed itself in about 3 days
WOT?
The needle does seem fine if im slowly braking or speeding up, more so if im moving off from a stop or braking rapidly.
If it doesnt fix itself in the next few days, would you say get a new one or it should be good?
Second cluster the seller has sent me, dont want it to fail later on lol
Wide open throttle, and yeah I would try to get one from another seller if this one's also done after a few days
Haven't noticed any issue yet, apart from that with the rev gauge.
Contacted the seller, told them what I've noticed and what you said. Only issues are during wide open throttle the rev gauge moves almost if its lagging. And the speedo twice now didnt return to 0 when shutting the car off because it reset itself when starting the car up the next day.
I'm not sure if a "laggy" gauge is an issue, not sure will it get worse?
Should I buy a new gauge or should it be fine to use without concern of failure?
