She bought it at 216k miles for 2k like an idiot (she didn't consult me) literally bought a MONTH ago of fb marketplace. Dude had the check engine light switched off she drove it for 50 miles turned back on passes inspection until next year.

I popped the hood the day she bought it... The transmission line is basically welded or saudered. The transmission is sealed

It doesn't have a dipstick

I’ll be the one to jump in with bad news. Recognizing that it’s got a mystery oil leak and was misfiring, it’s time to get a compression check. That will confirm at least if the engine is ok.

question, do you have the technical ability to remove and jump terminals on a relay plug in a fuse box?

Ya know, I didn’t want to jump to that right away but especially if the starter has been soaked in whatever big oil leak is happening, I could easy

OH the car would randomly turn off like 35 miles before it finally turned off. The rpm went flat usually it has idle 1000 rpm but it like flat lined mid coast in first gear. Before it finally died she heard all the wrong medal noises clanking together I think that was the pistons punching through and medal going everywhere

what we're gonna do is force the starter to spin. if it spins and starts the engine, its not the starter. if it doesnt spin, its the starter.

or at least the wires/connections going to it, but thats all in the same area and we'll burn that bridge when we get to it

All these are shiet on it the struts, sway links, the control arms, the differential is leaking the rear part of the drive train isn't locked. I think the gear on the outside of the motor locked or the piston punched through the side
