So I just happen to see this as I’m leaving work, I don’t normally look at my tires bc who does and I just so happen to see this but didn’t see it 2 weeks ago when I aired up my tires. Do I throw the spare on? Tires will be replaced tomorrow or Saturday since these are woke suredrive bs.

Cant decide on an all weather tire, suggestions?

I’d throw the spare on just in case. It’s probably fine if it holds air, but you never know once it heats up

I can’t speak to those tires specifically but I can say every set of Nokians I’ve had has been top notch. Bet you’d be good 👍

Used to work at goodyear and I can tell you, tires going to tire shops and Walmart are NOT the same quality

But its a whole thing with Walmart, Walmart anything is most likely lower quality then other places, like tires and audio equipment, skar sells crappy versions of their subs to walmart

A tire blowing out at say 55 isnt that bad, this at 75 in a small car almost ended badly

I got a brand new looking goodyear eagle sport ($200 tire) for $60

I’ve used Toyo Proxes but never Observe. At the time I liked some Summitumo better than the Proxes, although we are talking summer performance tires that I was using.

I had the crossclimate2 but only for about 1 winter before i sold that car, hows the traction after multiple winters when tread bit worn

starting to really consider forking up the money for them again

I’ve had a set on a vehicle for three winters and it was as good on winter 3 as winter 1. That was with about 25k miles on the tires. Can’t say much beyond that mileage or time unfortunately.

fair enough, ill have about 15k ish miles by time next winter starts (2026), just worried about how long they last, I also hate spending money that isnt a bill LOL so im just axious

based off you going through 3 winters and being just as good, i feel confident in buying them. almost $1.1k installed lol

May be worth seeing if you can find an all weather tire comparison test that includes both the cc2 and the nokians - I’m genuinely curious, and if the nokians are significantly cheaper that may be the move

under $100 in saving from going nokian, imma stick to trust cc2
