I've got an annoying problem where my speedometer is constantly way off. It shows the car doing 10-20km/h slower on the guage than it should be. At 80km/h it reads at 60km/h. The car is supposed to be 100% stock. At 1500 rpm i'm doing 80 in 5th so there chould not be any mods to gearing. What on earth could cause this and what would the fix be?

Wrong size wheels, tho you'd have to have really big wheels for the speedo to behave like this. We're talking donk style.
And make sure you have the oem gauge cluster and gearing.
The first thing i'd replace is the speed sensor, it's probably located in the gearbox or somewhere on the rear axle.
