Im guessing you’re using six point sockets, always a good thing to confirm. Lift the car a little more and make sure it’s secured on jackstands if you haven’t already. You’ll need a breaker bar and some grunt. Be prepared to spend a few minutes orienting the bar correctly, it’ll be a bit of a challenge working with it under the car and getting a little swing to it, but that’s all you need is a small amount of swing. Good luck!
Keep impacting for a little bit more
Like 10 seconds non stop with a good impact wrench, it should come off
Mine were also very tight, i had to hold the trigger for 10 seconds
I was hitting it with this for like 15 ish seconds and it still wouldnt come off ;-;
Are you sure you are impacting reverse ?
yes haha. I legit made sure like 14 times cuz it was making me so mad
Because that means that bolt is torqued to like at least 800 lbs ft which is absolutely insane, that bolt must have snapped by now
I just went and got a torch so im going to give it another go at it tmmr night
Need a breaker bar anyways so im going to buy one but is something like this okay? or is it to cheap and not worth it?

Pretty sure that’s the same one I have haha. Worst case you break it and then you know to get a better one, but I’ve used mine for years and it’s going. Even used a pipe on the end for more leverage on some occasions, which you may be doing too. Make sure to wear gloves and eye protection.
Alrighty
Thank you sm
Oh heck - I missed that. Yes, half inch.
Will do
If the 1/2 in doesnt work then you gotta get an induction heater or torch
Okay so i got those bolts broken lose.
Now the factory stupid 2 small bolts are completely stripped and seized. I tried drilling them out aswell as easy outing them and neither worked. I first tried manual impact with a hammer that stripped them and wouldn’t break them free. Aswell as unfreeze penetrating it to try and get it lose. Nothing would break em
You need to drill those out and use a screw extractor
see I would love to say I haven't already tried that but I have ;-;. I tried Easy out and I tried a drill bit upping the size neither worked... sad day but happy day bc i found out my other cars engine isnt blown lol
Whats easy out ?
Easy out would be another name for a screw extractor. If it were me, I’d go up another 1-2 sizes in drill bit, and get the “hat” of the set screws off. The remaining shaft will still be in place, but at least that gets the rotor off. From there, it may be possible to grab the screw (if enough is exposed after removing rotor) and simply back it out, if not then another pass with the extractor may be more successful. Or really, if they’re impossible to get out, skip it. Makes putting the wheel on a little more tricky but won’t hurt anything mechanically
Will most definitely give this a try
