hello everyone. i screwed in metal brake line into brake caliper. but i have a couple of questions. 1. is it okay if it isnt screwed all the way in? 2. is it ok if the black metal tube moves up and down?

But to answer your question, this is wrong. This is a compression fitting that compresses the steel line as the threads are drawn into the caliper. Which is what you did correctly on the following photos 👍🏽
