Hello, im looking for a A6 3.0 quattro, someone told me the 3.0 engines are bad and wrecked. anyone got experience and can help or maybe give some tips what i should check on when buying one?

Really the only issues are the pcv being under the supercharger and timing being expensive

The transmissions are also very stout compared to the dsg in the b8.5 s4

I was not happy with the ZF8. I have 2 cars with ZF6's, and the first time I drove a ZF8, all it did was hunt and seek all day long... I was screaming "Just pick a f'ing gear dammit!" 😆

What zf8 did you drive

Because some manufacturers have terrible tuning

Newer Jaguar XF.
I'm certain if I bought it I would have reset the adaptive settings and played with it more. As it was I rented it for 3 days and just drove it. I was not impressed with the ZF8, and would prefer my ZF6 over it.

Yeah I really liked the zf6 in my bmw but I haven't driven one of their zf8 cars
