from what I've seen on Tiktok it could be timing tensioner or the conrod bearing
Hell yeah golf wagon
Wish i could get an r wagon in the US
best bet is to avoid this once just that noise could literally be anything
I cant lie all i hear is the normal vw ticking
Is it normal?
Cause its lil fucked up now to say when the deal is almost done 😭
If you are referring to the ticking sound yeah it sounds pretty standard
Im not a mechanic you should probably ask one but it sounds like mine
At least heres a reference
Idk it might be a little loud
Thankyou!
@eager fiber did it get quiet after driving?
Well the car were yk just standing outside I think maybe while
We checked out we didnt go for test drive cause the dealership were closing so we didnt have time
But that was pretty much cold engine I assume
highly recommend you test drive tho
but it's normal for the 1.4 to be loud on cold starts
Yes absolutely
that engine sound is pretty loud but normal for the 1.4
Ohh
Well this helps alot honestly!
yeah still circulating oil and building oil pressure
but when you do get the car I also recommend changing your oil to suit your regions temperatures
My neighbor had a Gold R-line and after changing from 5w-20 to 5w-40 most of the times the engine ran pretty quiet
Okayyy! Ill keep that in mind
@tranquil otter I think that my video was maybe on high volume so it was louder?
yeah just record the car next time with your camera but it does sound like your average 1.4tsi
