The handle is broken off or the cable pulled straight out?

Assuming someone pulled the cable out of the sheath: get the front end in the air and try to release the latch from underneath.

#

Curious how that happened, it’s much more common to break a handle but very deliberate to pull the cable all the way out.

And it popped out of the lever spot idk how to explain to I went to pull the cord itself

#

And it just kept coming out till I got to the end

I’m aware the most likely solution is going thru the grill but idk there to be poking it’s hard to see and I don’t have weather stripping stuff in my driver wheel well but I don’t believe I can see any type of cord from there

Not sure how involved I want to get in this one. So many variables that airz probably has a better grasp of it more than I do, and getting access from underneath is probably the easiest (or not).
I'd probably try my slim jim to catch the latch and pull it to the release position. Remember, this is nothing but a basic spring loaded hook. All you need to do is find a way to pull the hook to the side that unlatches it.
Do you have any stiff wire? Not coat hanger thick but bendable enough to feed thru and back out of a hood gap?
My thinking is this. Feed a curved piece of wire into the center area of the hood, making sure it loops past the center and back out the front of the hood gap.
If you can get the wire to wrap around the frontside of the hook, pulling it to one side or the other might let you tug the hook free of the catch.
Drunk brain thinking out loud here, but I've been lucky rigging workarounds just knowing how the mechanism functions.

I’ll definitely try this I was using a coat hanger I had bent to try to fish for any type of release through the grill however I will try your method thank you

Look up a hood latch assembly for this car and get a close look at some pictures
