So I’ve been looking for a good high performance summer tire that’ll look really good I’m going for a street/race tire it’s going on my 72 c10 that’s going towards a higher rpm goal with a 6 speed T56 magnum so I’m looking at tires that are staggered I’m running a 18inch US mag rambler and I’m looking at doing like a 255/40/18 front and rear 295/40/18 I just really want a great looking tire good performance so minimum 200 tread wear good in the rain I don’t want to be super sketchy. It’s going to get driven a lot here

I've not even heard of that brand, and know no one running them, but then, I'm older now and not been to any track events in several years, so maybe they are becoming popular?
That said, I live on performance tires, and go thru them like candy (about once every two years).
If you're looking for some of the most respected, the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S (which I currently have on my 510hp 2010 XKR) and they have held up longer than any other brand I have used.
I'm testing out Continentals ExtremeContact Sport+ on my second Jag (2007 XK), and the grip was so solid that for the first time in my life I actually got a queezy stomach on extreme twisties (Google maps Highway 1, Northern California!)
I'd like to run the Potenza RE-71's, (the newer better big brother to the discontinued RE-11's) because the RE=11's were very easy to predict and the grip was gut wrenching (longevity however sucked, as I replaced them almost yearly), but road noise was too high for me compared to the other two and that didn't suit a Jag.
I live is a very wet state, and all do well in the rain.
My driving style dictates my tires, and running with Porsche, Austin Martins, Lotus, Corvettes, and the occasional EVO at speed have taught me that buying based on price can get you or worse someone else killed. A full set for me sets me back $1200, and I don't care. Grip matters!
Thank you! Sorry for the late response. Yeah that’s my big concern is my safety but not only mine but the others around me and the car I’m driving means a lot to me as well so I want to take care of it.
An a full interior XKR probably weighs close to what I weigh and your running what 255 you front 285 in the rear? That’s actually close to where I want to do lol
I do smile when I look at the Jags from the rear! Seeing meat almost a foot wide back there kinda does that to ya!
I will add that my Pilot Sports are now 4+ years old, have great looking tread still, but I can tell the compound is breaking down with a noticeable loss of grip. Performance tires are like that, as sticky compounds will harden much faster than say a normal family tire.
Selling the XKR (been saying that for a year now) as the XK is my preferred ride of the two, so I'll let the next owner worry about replacements (and yes I will tell any new owner what they should consider right off the bat).
Just a performance tire tid-bit for ya. 🤪
Gotcha yeah my C10s a little different from a Jag but it’s same principles all around the Kendas tires I was on about ealier are a much newer popular brand they are big in grassroots stuff so like auto cross pro drifting and grass roots drifting
