So I went to check on it, the area seems to be holding it, dunno how well I put it over the area. But I did miss a tiny spot. Should be good though.
Hopefully holds up over time, and doesnt leak. But think it might leak a tiny bit since I missed like a pin point spot.

Honestly never attempted a valve cover repair. Your patch may be fine but I’d be concerned about what caused it in the first place, may happen again?

Might hold for a little while but ultimately you’re better off replacing it with a new one. Gaskets are probably dry rotted

I replaced the gasket the other day
The cover cracked because a friend cross threaded the screw

So I let the JB plastic weld dry overnight, seems to be better than before. Let the car run twice to check for leaks. Could've sworn there is a little leak, but I will confirm that later today after I drive it to and from work.

Probably time to replace that valve cover then; unfortunately. May at least be able to get one from a scrapyard if it’s cost prohibitive for a new one.

So I found a seller on ebay, has the cover for 150 brand new with a new gasket, just replaced mine but figured I'd replace it again. Anyways the cover is for the Accent model, I've got a Getz. Cover looks like mine, and figured 150 for a new one is better than nothing.

The new "Getz" one is 300 dollars.
But the one for accent is 130
The seller looked at mine and said they look the same, but if it doesnt fit I can return.
