Engine knocking..

I got a 4.6 2v and I can’t tell if I spun another rod bearing or if it’s a rocker this time so if someone could help me determine which it is before I try to pull apart the valve cover. I have a video I’ll attach to this post

I need the 4.6 gods to assemble and help a brotha out 😂

Been there before 😂 this isn’t the first time but this time I just can’t tell definitively if it’s a rod or not

That’s my vote, but my ears are not great so don’t put a lot of weight in it

So I have a video on my phone if I’m my phone of the first time the motor went and it was a rod. I could send that video too for comparison

So these are the first 2 times I spun a rod bearing in the car.

The rattle seems sharper to my ears than your previous occurrences, to me that indicates the noise is on top of the engine. I’m staying on valvetrain issue.

If it makes a difference there was some sort of oil in my pcv line idk where it came from tho lol. But again I appreciate the input I’ll definitely have to check out the rockers on that side
