Automatic or manual?
it's been a while but there's some info we need to help diagnose the issue.
- is it an auto or a manual
- how many gears total
- what's the car, model and year
- if you know the exact transmission or car trim what is it
since you said clutch I'm assuming you mean it's a Manual vehicle however autos also have clutchpacks.
manual
LC100, 5 gears 2006, manual
does it make any noise when you try to put it in gear and is it only 4th or are all gears a bit hard to shift?
little hard, I sometimes put gear into 1st and it doesnt move and I have to put it on N and then put it in 1st again
do you ever hear grinding sounds when you go to put it in gear?
yes i do
then it is probably the clutch not fully dissengaged, the question now is why?
does it ever slip when accelerating and does struggle to get going from a stop?
little struggling, im taking the car to a repair shop tomorrow
ill let u know what was the issue
yea, sounds like the clutch isn't fully dissengaging or is worn out and needs replacing
3rd and 4th gear assembly was worn out and changed
weird that it effected all gears to some extent but glad to hear it was sorted out
