Even if you seee your clutch soave cyl moving it may not being moving far enough to engage the gears. You can also try checking your master cyl aswell. Id probably start off looking for fluid loss and bleeding the system
ok that makes sense I didnt really look for any fluid leaks as the car despite being 22 years old is in a very good condition and the pipes didnt have any signs of corrosion although it could be a join that can have failed although the fluid level looked to be high
is bleeding it the same process as bleeding brakes?
I havent really done anything with the clutch or gears yet in my apprenticeship so whilst I can see the slave moving a decent amount I am not sure that its enough I guess with experience I will learn that but I will go for the cheapest options first and hope one of those solves it thanks so much :)
