So I’ve been debating for the past few days and I want a few more opinions. I’m debating getting Tesla plaid but is there any other cars similar price that’s maybe even better? (Range, looks, etc)

dark wren
#

I mean the plaid would be the highest

#

Maybe 110 max

As reliable as a high performance EV can be.

dark wren
#

For that price

charred drum
#

I mean the Lucid Air is gonna be the high end of that but its performance and luxury is unbeatable in its price range.

charred drum
#

The lucid.

dark wren
#

So lucid would be better than Tesla

charred drum
#

Yes.

dark wren
#

One sec

dark wren
#

Like when I press order it doesn’t give options

charred drum
#

This is the lucid air GT

dark wren
#

So if a trim isn’t available it’s probabaly not listed

#

Since there’s a few more things it says but it isn’t there

This is better than any Tesla. They’re expensive, but they have better quality, range, options, features, etc etc.

Sure, a used Tesla Plaid would outperform it any day, but if speed is your only concern then the Lucid isn’t for you.

They have higher trims, but the GT is the highest one they have available right now. The sapphire is sold out or not available yet I believe.

dark wren
#

Ok so

#

The sapphire is 250,000 that’s quite a bit more so

dark wren
#

Sorry for asking a lot I’m just trying to figure out

charred drum
# dark wren In what ways would lucid be better like feature s

In their “less expensive” models they’re fully loaded. Just go check their website for the features it has.

Way better sound system, heated and ventilated seats (you’ll have to double check that) build quality is top tier and doesn’t rattle, sound deadening is infinitely superior, just better in every way.

The range is almost 200 miles more than a fully loaded Tesla

dark wren
#

Or no

dark wren
#

I don’t think it’s worth getting the sapphire it’s 250

#

Would there be any better non ev cars

charred drum
#

Porsche, and Corvette (C6-C8),

GG @dark wren, you just advanced to level 7! Chat more to level up and earn top roles!

charred drum
# dark wren How’s the range on those cars though

I mean there’s definitely more but those are the two I can think of off the top of my head.

Range isn’t gonna be great… they’re sports cars. They’re not meant for range or gas mileage. You don’t buy a sports car for its fuel economy, quite the opposite lol.

dark wren
#

Even on the sapphire range is 400

dark wren
#

Overall

charred drum
#

Yeah. The sapphire is the best EV overall. If you’re looking for something that does literally everything well, there isn’t a better option.

HOWEVER… the Lucid Air GT is far superior in price to performance. I would personally (if I had the money) get either a Lucid Air GT or a Rivian R1S

#

The Rivian is just for me tho, don’t worry about comparing that to any Tesla or Lucid lmao. Just my personal want.

dark wren
#

One se one let me search it up

#

R1s isn’t a sedan right

dark wren
charred drum
#

Yes. Range and Price.

dark wren
#

Is there any comparable suv?

#

With decent space

charred drum
#

The sapphire is for rich mfs with 3 divorces, a supermodel girlfriend that’s 1/4 of their age, a house worth more than my hometown, and douchebag children that think they’re the best thing ever.

If you actually want to get the Tesla plaid, get the Lucid Air GT instead.

# dark wren Is there any comparable suv?

The Rivian R1S is the only option if you don’t want a Tesla.

All other electric SUVs are ass, or virtually nonexistent. I like the Volvo EV’s but they don’t do anything particularly well. They’re just middle of the road type of vehicles.
