I'm looking for an upgrade to my Control Arm Bushing, it might seem very specific but I've owned this car for a year and a half now and replaced the control arms 4 times already, some would last 6 months, others 3! I've already ruined one set of good tires that bearly were on the car for a year.
I might drive aggressively sometimes, hard on the accelerator hard on the break, but road conditions are bad in some places where i go, however i still think it's ridiculous to have to change the bushings this much, I've not bought genuine parts coz the prices are ridiculous where i am (100$ a piece, no installation), i was told that oem will also only last a year or so, becouse of road conditions.
However now I'm looking for a way to resolve this issue ince and for all, replacement for whatever cheap shit shops have been putting in my car.

Looking online generally haven't helped me much beside this list in the image, I'm welling to pay a premium if it means i get to resolve this issue once and for all, or at least for them to last more than a few months!

That’s wild. I’ve never heard of bushings getting toasted that quickly, unless they’re getting improperly installed. Recommendation-wise, I personally have had good success with Moog. One detail that may make a difference: whomever is doing the install should be aware that the fasteners should be torqued with the control arm at ride height. If it’s in the air and the suspension is at full droop, then you’re putting a load on the bushings by putting the car back on its wheels. Instead, you or they should support the control arm until it’s about at ride height, then torque the fasteners.

Altimas of this generation do have terrible struts from factory that is a fact but I’ve never heard of issues with the control arms.

Best upgrade advice I can give you is MEVOTECH when it comes specifically to this car with its front control arms.

#

With that being said. How are your strut sway bar bushings? Tie rods? Struts? Etc. if you have blown front suspension parts, you will stress your control arms full time

#

Also just like coffee said. When are you tightening the control arms down after install?

I see, when i bought the car it had been sitting for 6 months in the sun and the front end suspension was in terrible state, I'm talking bearly connected to the car, it would basically change lanes if you break a little hard, immediately took it and replaced struts, and alot of bushings, tbh it is my first car and i don't know exactly what the shop did, but i know we replaced most parts with Japanese brand parts instead of oem, bought it cheap and fixed it up, i haven't worked on the suspension myself.

I'll have the bushings checked in general and see if replacing the control arms themselves would be advised.

You're doing something very wrong or there is something very wrong with the car

Hey guys! Finally fixed the car today, my dad took the car to be inspected while i was away and they suggested replacing the control arms completely, which i did today, i forgot to take a pic of the rest of the control arms but while it isn't showing the tech described all 6 bushings as "play dough " apparently!
I have been driving for the past 10 days and only managed to replace it today so the bushing in the pic is slightly more worn out than it was before but he mentioned that if i don't spill oil on it it will last me at least 3 years, which is where it all clicked!

When i bought the car it had been sitting for 6 months in the sun with a leaking power steering pump, and by leaking i mean completely drained, we did replace the front end but i guess no one thought to replace the control arms since it would be expensive, and that's probably what caused all the pain for the past 2 years.
Goes to show if you got an oil leak, fix it fast, or u gonna need to replace alot of rubber!

2 more things i noticed, the ride feels alot smoother! Could be a placebo but also makes sense to be true.

Also i have a bad habit of counter steering when accelerating now 🥲

If you get a chance down the road I would do the struts, they are known to fail on this generation of Altima

#

They are very very easy to replace.
