Crazy, I’ve actually never seen this before.

#

I’ve seen broken spark plugs, not broken ignition coils.

#

I would try to hit it with some heat if you could. Would be wild if you had to remove the head for this.

vice grips?

#

really small vice grips?

#

Just so i got this right, the metal part in the middle is also the ignition coil?

#

Roughly how big is that hole in the middle?

#

3-4mm?

#

Okay. Find a big screwdriver and some big screws.

#

Drive a screw into it, and then jank it all out with some pliers

You have to get to a point where you can put a socket on it, I would keep pulling the rubber out

Just get something sharp, a vacuum cleaner, and scrape away i guess

#

is there any way you could get a closer picture of it?

#

Head has to come off

#

Unless you can drill into the plug but the thing is, your going to drop all that junk into your cylinder

It’s not hard removing it. It’s the getting everything back on and back in time is what the issue is

Never go back to that shop, electrical burning smells NOTHING like brakes burning, have bad both. And you won't smell the brakes anyway unless you overheat them
