hi, i hit a pillar with my left wheel when reversing and turning. its now easier to turn left than to turn right. its hard to explain but turning the wheel left has almost no resistance for the first 180ish degrees. there's no issues turning left maybe than the deadzone is increased a little bit (noticed on the highway). like i need to turn maybe 10 more degrees before it starts actually turning. and no other issues. turning right didnt change at all. feels normal. just the left turn is odd. if anyone has any insight, would love to know wats going on and if its serious enough that i need to go get it checked out immediately.

Yes, get it checked out sooner than later. You likely bent a piece of your chassis/steering assembly, which is at risk of breaking (which is the worst case scenario) but at a minimum it throws off your alignment which will eat tires very quickly.

Take it to a tyre place and get an alignment done. Hopefully that fixes it. If not like airz said, good chance you bent something.

Have it inspected before an alignment is done. Typically shop will notice damages before doing an alignment and tell you what’s wrong.

Just so you’re not spending money for no reason. You could have thrown the alignment out

But it’s best to inspect for damage prior to doing an alignment.
