mph
do you mind if i ask how old you are
lol
to get 200mph out of a 350z ur gonna need to pull that motor out build it and boost it
im 16
i mean if you removed everything from the car you might be able to have like a low boost setup and hit 200 but whats the point
ima have to buold a cuistom engine?
GG @oak jasper, you just advanced to level 1! Chat more to level up and earn top roles!
you aren't ever gonna hit 200mph on a public road
i just wanna make it faster than a 2021 honda civic sport
a stock 350 makes what 300hp that is not gonna take you to 200mpoh
lmfao it'll be as fast if not faster stock
so its already better
better performance wise maybe
nothing else will be better though, the civic is just newer and nicer and more reliable
can you help me how do i do this
do what
can u go dms its making me wait to type
ok
With money, experience and most importantly time, will you be able to do this.
ok so things you'll need if you wanna go 200MPH in a 350z which IMO is stupid and you're better of starting with a different platform.
also beating a civic? that's your goal?
either way you'll need to do A LOT of things and it'll be very time consuming, costly and difficult.
you're already mechanically limited to 155mph so you'll need a new final drive if not entirely new gearbox/ratios and possibly increased engine RPM.
you'll need a lot more power which is a question of how much money you can throw on the car.
you could strip out the interior to decrease weight which won't help with top speed however it'll help acceleration.
you'll need some good tires that can handle the speeds you wanna go.
you might need new suspension that can handle the forces and bumps at those speeds.
the car will probably become insanely unstable so you've gotta have balls of steel and throw a ton of time and money on increasing the stability of things.
you'll probably wanna decrease drag quite a bit to help the car along since power will only get you so far.
and we're just scraping the surface here
Dude u gotta be trolling at this point you have done three of these💀
we had one guy make 10+ threads about buying a first car
New here, but tbh 350z can eat that honda easily a few ways if the civic is stock. I did it easily multiple times in a 300zx 2+2 NA. Those cars pack on horses easily by doing minor things like opening up both ends so it can breathe, coils, and updated air filter with a tune
its a 2021 civic sport all stock he hasnt cahnged anything
its my first car man ive always liked 350z just tryna figure stuff out about them
and im settling on a 2006 350z im keeping it stock for a while but im thinking about chang in the wheels nad lowering it
IMO, the z would be better saved for a secondary car especially if you eventually wanna mod it.
you shouldn't mod your daily driver outside of maybe minor thing that can be done and undone within a weekend
well idk what else to get
i was looking at a bzr
same story there though for different reasons
IMO RWD isn't a good choice for a first car, you also don't want to much power and you want reliability along with a low cost of ownership
great for a secondary car you can mod, take out on the weekend, send on the track or take out on nice days but as a first car and daily the traits you're looking for are usually undesirable
so what would you recommend i just want a clean car that is faster than a 2021 civic sport
GG @oak jasper, you just advanced to level 3! Chat more to level up and earn top roles!
I wouldn't worry about it being faster TBH, that sorta thinking is what causes people to make stupid mistakes.
I'd look into some basic, cheap and reliably daily beaters to start off with.
some common suggestions include
- Civic
- Camry
- Corolla
- Integra
- Accord
- Fit
though depending on where you live, budget and specific use cases/needs the options can very well change
Fast cars aren’t as big of a flex as u think it is
man i just wnat a clean sports car
save it for your second/weekend car
U can get a mustang for 5ish
for a regular car i wanted a 2021 civic sport or a 2020 si
both great daily drivers, bit to much money for a first car IMO
Those are expensive
Buy ur first car don’t finance
im just looking at used cars
U have no credit interest will be nuts
