Why mod a pt cruiser
Good question
Ig because I'm dumb idk tbh
Don't really wanna sell it because I know it won't sell for enough to get a new car that I can mod better
Anyone know where I can find the parts?
GG @eternal cairn, you just advanced to level 1! Chat more to level up and earn top roles!
well that'll depend on where you live, budget and how much work you wanna put in as well as how good you want your results to be
@eternal cairn sell it. mod an hhr/ssr or something, they're just better. Pt cruisers tend to be quite cheap in any condition
How much do you think I could get out of the pt cruiser is amazing condition and bow much would an hhr or ssr cost in Pennsylvania?
I just looked at them and why do they look like thatπ
I just wanna upgrade the car because I don't want to be kinda like everyone else
I kinda also just want a budget fast car
i hate to break it to ya but pt cruisers are kinda junk. You would have to spend over what it's worth to make it a fast well-performing car. They go for like $7k on a good day in good shape
I know they're junk but tbh I just wanted a car that I could get for cheap that I could upgrade and go fast before I get sent to basic
get a crown vic
trust
rwd, bulletproof v8, parts more common than sand, smoke tires with a few simple-ish mods, etc
also comfy as hell
2007?
Damn so expensive lol
naw just anything between 1998 and 2012
I'd recommend any low-ish mileage (150,000 or less) ex Police Interceptor Crown Victoria made between '98 and 2012. You want the Police Interceptor variant due to its higher horsepower output. You can tell it is an ex-Police Interceptor by a number of ways. The grille is blacked out (black plastic/metal). Police interceptor badging on the trunk (i think?). There could be a push-bar on the front end. The rims are most likely steel wheels, with either center hub caps or plastic covers. There's usually a spotlight on the driver's side A-pillar, right above the mirror. The interior has a desk-like surface on the center-console, and brackets for radios and other equipment might be present. The rear doors might not have interior handles. Keep in mind that these visual cues aren't exactly present on ALL of them, but all of them have at least ONE of these items. The seller would also most likely advertise this when selling. Looking at examples for sale on Craigslist in New York, they tend to go for $6-10k, which is just about worth it. Just remember that they aren't really fuel efficient lol.
I appreciate you alot thank you
yeah np just send me a pic if u get one lol
ad listing is 4 years old, and it looks modded. I'd buy one unmodded so you know the car.
Go to autotempest.com, put in "ford" as brand, crown victoria/police interceptor as model, and your location with the desired distance away. You can fine tune your search under "advanced search".
7 inch lift kit
still too short tbh at least a foot is necessary
142 inch lift kit
Hey so since I kinda have no money and my engine went out I need some help
Would it be best to just get another engine, get a turbo engine, or go an srt 4 swap
do not mod this car
ok and you have one?
And the engine is kinda bad now after a hole ripped into the oil filter and I didn't know until the car was making a scratching sound
Just don't
What other car could I buy then
I can sell the car since I'm still waiting for the pink slip in the mail
for what car?
the pt?
Yeah
Was trying to save for the crown vic
But money is and this car keeps taking more

scrap/part it out, or sell it idk those cars are junk
I really can't sell it until I get my registration paper
Can't scrap it or part it out because I have no money so rn I'm just using it as is
Uhhhhhhhhhhh
Well
Technically yes
And no
Just not enough hours
And it's hard to find a new job cuz everything is far
π
What you think I been doing
Now I'm looking for more jobs while imma work my new night job
