OBD2 read 5.3 on maf so ive ruled that out but cant quite figure out whats causing this

What kind of scanner are you using and is that grams/sec or pounds/min?

And I assume when you replaced intake tubes, you’re referring to the two “elbows” that go from the maf to the throttle body? One of them has a t connection to a hard vacuum line that goes back towards the firewall. As a sanity check, how much of a pita was it doing the attachment from the bottom boot to the throttle body itself?

Using a Obd 2 and it’s grams/sec and yes those tubes and what do you mean by pita?

Ohhhh pain in the ass for removing the old tube, it was pretty difficult had to use both hands

Smoke test is also a good test - a leak in that intake boot is suspect. The reason I asked about the connection to the TB is because the hose connection sits deep against the TB and it’s extremely tricky to get the clamp on correctly. If it was easy to put the clamp on, it’s likely not seated correctly on the TB.

Have noticed car jerks on deceleration and maf could be responsible for that

Ok that’s promising. From the link I provided, follow the instructions in post 1. Record airflow, rpm, intake air temp, and both fuel trims. Make a rolling start wide open throttle run. Grab your data points from that run to use in the calculator (link in post 15)
