Hey everyone, I have a question about cars. I own two: a white 2006 Honda Fit and a grey 2016 Honda Fit. Yesterday, I found a car part in my garage, but I'm unsure which car it belongs to. Can anyone help identify the part and determine which car it's from? If you need more pictures of the car part let me know

Looks like interior paneling. Based on the shape I'd think it goes somewhere near the center storage compartment but that's just a guess

oh my thanks, is it a vital part of the car? Do you think it's dangerous not to have it fixed for a while?

Definitely not a vital part if it's an interior panel
The texture of that plastic is another sign that it's from interior
Since it's from a Fit it may be from the hatch area.
I wouldn't pay to fix at all. Just may figure it out one day

I'd just be guessing. I'd just look for an exposed area inside both.
My guess is either hatch area or maybe the covering for the seat brackets. Somewhere that isn't in direct line of sight
That first pic shows "FR OUT" stamped into the plastic so seems to be from the right side of the car
