#Air flow direction issue

I own a 2011 Honda Civic. Every morning before work or school i use my auto start to turn it on so it can heat up. No issues. But the problem is I can’t defrost my Front windshield because most times, the airflow direction doesn’t work properly.

I will have it on front windshield defrost the day before. But when i get into the car, when front windshield direction is on, the vents for my face is still where the air is flowing, even though it’s on front defrost.

the thing that’s weird is sometimes it does as it should and defrosts, but most times, 9 times out of ten, it doesn’t work as it should.

This may be a blend door problem, and in some cases I have been able to “reset” it by switching the mode all the way to floor only and then a few seconds later, all the way to defrost only. Granted, that’s a workaround

Another fine video production from me....this one shows some tips on how to change the HVAC mode control motor on a 2007 Civic EX.
Part # 79140-SNA-A01
I bought it from Newegg of all places but it was actually from a third party seller, Source One Auto Parts.
$35 shipped...they sell on Amazon too.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Don't ...
